The Governing Board is a committee which had an equal position with the Governor of the National Resilience Institute of RI. The Governing Board chaired by the Governor of National Resilience Institute of RI.

The Governing Board has the task of formulating public policy of Lemhannas RI.

In performing the task as intended, The Governing Board organizing the functions of public formulation policy in the sector of :

• Education of cadre preparation and stabilization of the leadership at the national level,
• Strategic assessment of the various national and international problems;
• Strengthening the nationality values;
• Cooperation in graduate education majoring in the strategic studies of the national security with educational institutions either national or international;
• Cooperation in the strategic assessment and strengthening the nationality values with either local or international institutions.

The Governing Board consist of :

• A coordinator who concurrently as a member chaired by the Governor of National Resilience Institute of RI;
• A secretary who concurrently as a member;
• A membership of 7 (seven) people.
