TASK AND FUNCTION

The Communication and Electronic Division shall have task to implement the Computer/Communication and its network development and maintenance activities, presentation of information and data processing, computer laboratory and workshop development, telematic human resources training.

In implementing the task as referred, the Communication and Electronic Division shall perform the following functions:

1. implementation of communication network, intranet and internet with cable and wireless through leased line, Virtual Public Network (VPN) and Integrated Service Digital Network (ISDN) design and development as well as other modern telematic technology development;
2. implementation of computer/communication its network maintenance and safeguarding affairs periodically, whether hardware or software (operation system) including sound system and multimedia/infocus etc;
3. implementation of application, processing and maintenance development activity affairs of the data basis;
4. implementation of Laboratory development and Workshop to increase the Telematic human resources capability;
5. implementation of coding implementation affairs in the institution.
